new web site

If you are wondering why I have not been publishing new paintings it is because I have been setting up a new web site.  All my currently available paintings, landscapes and abstracts, are now available through the new web. Check it out

Hill Top Farm

Last fall I was driving around in the Ft Smith area and took some photos of a friends farm -- they raise racehorses and I was charmed by the light in the early afternoon on this view from the bottom of the hill.  The sky was just turning pink and the glow on the fall leaves was wonderful.

Back Entrance in the Afternoon

I passed a friend's house on a hot July afternoon and saw this wonderful light filtering through the trees. I couldn't wait to paint it. This is a very inviting scene.

Garden Fountain

A restful scene in 100 degree weather. There is a robin on the edge of the fountain and I keep thinking that a small back Scottie terrier is peaking out from the curtain in the window at the lower left window.

Porch with Crepe Myrtle

No one was sitting out on this porch on this hot July day, but I can imagine that it is well used when the weather turns cooler. Crepe Myrtle are in full bloom in Ft Smith all summer long -- great colors.

Backyard Garden on North F St

In the Belle Pointe Historic area of Ft Smith a lovely garden has been developed over the years. I have painted several views of this garden and hope to do more as the seasons change. This was from a photo taken in July of this year.

Garden Gate with Red Brick

I was walking in the Hillcrest area of Ft Smith when the sunlight through the wrought iron filligree gate attracted my attention. This is a back entrance to the property.
