June 2011 I attended a workshop with Kevin Macpherson in the Taos NM area with two friends. The class was a five day adventure in plein air painting, that is painting outdoors. On the third day we were painting in Taos and set up on the parking lot and I did a quick study of this scene. At my home studio I did this larger version from that study and some photos I took of the area.
